Cincinatti @ Pittsburgh- The Steelers are starting to get healthy and their defense always provides a boost. The Steelers should win big here.

Sun. Nov 23

Philadelphia @ Baltimore- This will be a tough game for McNabb and Westbrook but an even tougher game for Flacco and the Raven’s running game. The Eagles should squeeze in a win in Baltimore.

Houston @ Cleveland - This is a potentially high scoring affair with two terrible defenses facing two potentially potent offenses. I like the running game and pass rush of the Texans to prevail in this match-up.

Tampa Bay @ Detroit- The Buccaneers should dominate this game in all phases.

Buffalo @ Kansas City- The Bills can stop the run and they play exceptional special teams. Even with their recent struggles, I will take them to win here.

Chicago @ St. Louis- The Bears will make short work of a struggling Rams team. This may be a blow-out.

New York Jets @ Tennessee- This will be a tough game for Brett Favre and he may struggle against a solid Titans secondary. The Titans should get the win at home.

New England  @ Miami- I don’t think Matt Cassel will duplicate his stellar Thursday night performance by throwing for 400 yards and 3 TDs but he should do well enough to get the “w”. Coach Belicek is showing why he’s the best coach in the NFL still. This may be a payback game for what happened to the Pats earlier in the year.

Minnesota @ Jacksonville- Two great running games and two similar offenses. This is a toss up but I will side with the Vikings and Adrian Peterson.

San Francisco @ Dallas- Mike Singletary has his fingerprints all over this 49ers squad and they are rallying behind him. They will be up against a talented Cowboy team that is much better with Romo in the line-up.

Oakland @ Denver- Too much firepower for the Raiders plus its a home game.

Carolina @ Atlanta- The Panthers are starting to run the ball extremely well and once Delhomme gets on track this will be a dangerous opponent. This will be a tough game but the Panthers should edge the Falcons in this NFC South division match-up.

N.Y. Giants @ Arizona - The G-Men are on a mission and they will make every attempt to punish Kurt Warner and the Cardinals passing attack. They will have a difficult task ahead but they should get the win by using their brutal ground game. 

Washington @ Seattle -This could be a trap game for the Skins as it is very tough to play in Seattle. I think the Skins will win but it will be a hard fought game with the Seahawks getting Hasselbeck and some receivers healthy.

Indianapolis @ San Diego - The Colts are getting in a rhythm and now Addai is joining in on the fun. Have to pick the Colts in this one.

Mon. Nov 24

Green Bay @ New Orleans- The league’s best secondary faces off against one of the NFL’s best quarterbacks. This will be a superb match-up between two talented teams. I like Aaron Rodgers chances of putting up solid numbers against a poor Saints secondary so I choose the Packers to win on the road.

I may choose to go with Buffalo defense against Kansas City if Reggie Bush is healthy enough to go against my Packers defense. That will be a tough decision that will be made by gametime. I am in a must win situation in my league and absolutely have to win these next two games.

The Thursday night game will be lop-sided in favor of the Steelers and their defense. Expect big things from Hines Ward and the Steelers defense in this one. Monday night’s game should be a superb match-up between the league’s best secondary (Packers) and one of the best QBs in the NFL (Drew Brees). Stay tuned for next week’s breakdown and Good Luck!

N.Y. Jets @ New England- Coach Bill Belicek has had several weeks to groom young QB Matt Cassel and he is responding well. Its tough to pick against a Belicek coached team in a big game against division rivals. This AFC East battle should favor the Patriots at home.

Sun. Nov 16

Denver @ Atlanta- Rookie QB Matt Ryan is playing stellar football right now and the Falcons defense is stepping it up also. Denver has a strong offense but I don’t think their defense can contain Michael Turner and company. 

Detroit @ Carolina - This could be a potential trap game for Carolina but they should put together a strong effort at home in this one.

Philadelphia @ Cincinatti- The Eagles are the most dangerous 5-4 team in the league. As they get healthier every week they will start to collect some wins and should challenge for a playoff spot. The Bengals are no match for the Eagles.

New Orleans @ Kansas City -The Chiefs are beginning to look like a strong team but they have a strong offense coming to town this week led by Drew Brees. If Reggie Bush returns then the Saints should be able to take the victory here on the road.

Baltimore @ N.Y. Giants - With the injuries to the Ravens secondary its almost certain that the Giants will try to exploit that. The Giants should take this one along with a few bruises from the Ravens defense.

Minnesota @ Tampa Bay- The Buccaneers are ailing at RB and meanwhile the Vikings are coming off an emotional victory at home against a division rival. It will be a tough fight but the edge goes to the Buccaneers at home after a week of rest.

Oakland @ Miami - The Raiders are playing terrible and the Dolphins are playing great, this is an easy call. The Dolphins roll to victory at home against the Raiders.

Chicago @ Green Bay- With a shaky QB situation in Chicago the Packers should take advantage with their awesome secondary making plays.

Houston @ Indianapolis- Peyton Manning seems to be catching his stride and he plays much better at home. Both teams will put up points but the Colts should win the turnover battle.

St. Louis @ San Francisco- With new leadership from coach Mike Singletary the 49ers are playing with a new found fire. They came very close to beating an offensive powerhouse on Monday night.

Arizona @ Seattle- The Cardinals have too many weapons for the Seahawks. Even with Hasselbeck returning the edge still goes to Arizona in this NFC West match-up.

Tennessee @ Jacksonville - The Titans running game should bounce back in this AFC South divisional brawl to lead the Titans to 10-0. 

San Diego @ Pittsburgh -The Steelers are too strong on defense for the Chargers in this game. I look for a physical game by the Steelers led by the running game of Willie Parker and Mewelde Moore.

Dallas @ Washington - This is easily the game of the week. Both NFC East teams are coming off a bye weeks rest and will be ready to roll on Sunday night. With Romo in the line-up this is a totally different Cowboy team. Look for Terrell Owens to have a great game but the score will be very close.

Cleveland @ Buffalo- Brady Quinn had his easiest game of the season last week against the Broncos and now the road starts to get tougher. He may struggle a bit but it should still be a close game.

I hope you had a chance to see San Francisco go at it with Arizona on Monday night. Even though the 49ers came up short they showed a lot of improvement in that game. They came out with a burst of energy, enthusiasm, and motivation that seemed to be a reflection of their new head coach. I think they will be a team to reckon with next year if the 49ers give head coach Mike Singletary some time to develop.

Denver @ Cleveland- The Broncos defense has been playing poorly lately and now they are ailing from several key players being injured. I think the Cleveland offense will perform well against that defense and the Browns come away victorious.

New Orleans @ Atlanta- Both offenses are solid but the ground game for the Falcons should be the difference here.

Tennessee @ Chicago - The Titans should remain undefeated when they face a Bears team led by Rex Grossman and his many turnovers.

Jacksonville @ Detroit- The addition of Daunte Culpepper could shake things up a bit. Also, the Lions have been playing everyone tough so they are bound to get a win soon.

Baltimore @ Houston - Baltimore is strong on defense but Sage Rosenfels is a very capable back-up that should give the Texans an edge in this one. Ray Rice should have a solid showing though.

Seahawks @ Miami - The Dolphins defense will look to get after Seneca Wallace and cause turnovers. I think they will be successful with that and running the ball with Ronnie Brown.

Green Bay @ Minnesota- I find it very difficult to bet against Aaron Rodgers. The Packers were close to upsetting the Titans last week and continue to play well week in and week out.

Buffalo @ New England - The Bills will look to rebound after a tough loss to the Jets last weekend. They have a great chance to shut down Matt Cassel and get the win here.

St. Louis @ N.Y. Jets- Until Steven Jackson gets completely healthy the Rams will continue to struggle.

Carolina @ Oakland- The Panthers have too much firepower for the Raiders in this match-up. Unless the Panthers give the game away it should be a convincing win.

Indianapolis @ Pittsburgh- Peyton Manning has looked very impressive lately. The Colts need to win some games and soon. They should be able to score a few points on Pittsburgh and stop Byron Leftwich or an ailing Big Ben.

Kansas City @ San Diego- I look for Ladainian to come out of his bye week with a strong performance and lead the Chargers to victory.

N.Y. Giants @ Philadelphia -  The Giants are playing exceptional right now and this will be a very hard fought NFC East battle. I look for a mild upset here going down to the final moments. Brian Westbrook will be a huge factor in this one.

San Francisco @ Arizona - The Cardinals have a superior passing game and their defense is coming along. The San Francisco defense should get a jolt from new head coach Mike Singletary and this game may actually be pretty close.

Thursday night football will begin this week (Nov. 6) when the Cleveland Browns welcome the Denver Broncos. This game should be a good stat producer for fantasy fans as the banged up Broncos look to stop an emerging Browns squad. Potential second-year phenom Brady Quinn will get the start and depending on his performance the Browns could be in line for a strong statistical performance. I sure hope so since I will be starting Braylon Edwards. Also keep an eye on the 49ers Monday night game and how the players respond to their new fiery head coach Mike Singletary, that one should be interesting.
