Getting ready for my Fantasy Draft: GAME ON!

August 14, 2008

As the clock ticks, every second that goes by brings me closer to my annual fantasy football draft. It is a league of champions, where close to 90% of the league has won a championship or league title at least once. It is going to be a very competitive league and the top 3 players will be rewarded very well. I plan to unleash an in depth look into my value picks, must haves, and players to avoid. However, due to the fact that many of the players in my fantasy league often visit this blog I have decided to wait before I “spill the beans.” The draft is on August 21st, so be sure to check back in the days following for my no holds barred, take no prisoners fantasy breakdown.

The purpose of this blog is to help you win your fantasy league and that is exactly what we will help you do. Since my draft will be so intense I don’t feel comfortable giving my opponents one bit of help. I have to keep my opinions under wraps until the draft is finished. Don’t worry, I will post my team in one of my posts and analyze why I made those choices etc. Hopefully the player right before me doesn’t snag one of my key sleepers! Don’t you just hate when that happens? I know I do.

Anyway fellow fantasy footballers out there, just be patient with me and after my draft the silence will be over. If anyone in my league is reading this right now, YOU’RE GOIN’ DOWN! Good luck to you, but “The Real Deal” (my team name) will reign supreme this year! You heard it here first ladies and gents. IT’S ON!
